By accessing or using the Strydr mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. About Strydr

Strydr is owned and operated by John Glendenning ("we", "us", "our"). The App provides urban walking and cycling navigation services to help users navigate cities.

3. Use of the App

3.1 License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

3.2 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the App in any way that violates any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the App's functionality
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the App
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our express written permission

3.3 User Safety

The App is designed to assist with navigation. However:

• Always pay attention to your surroundings when walking or cycling
• Follow all traffic laws and pedestrian safety guidelines
• Do not use the App while driving unless properly mounted and used hands-free
• We are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or incidents that occur while using the App

4. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including:

• Apple Maps for mapping data
• Yelp for business information and ratings
• Other location and navigation services

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party services.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Ownership

The App, including all content, features, functionality, design, and underlying code, is owned by John Glendenning and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 Trademarks

"Strydr" and the Strydr logo are trademarks of John Glendenning. You may not use these trademarks without our express written permission.

6. Location Data

The App requires access to your device's location services to function properly. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of location data as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Offline Mode

The App offers offline functionality for navigation. However:

• Map data must be downloaded while online
• Offline features may have limited functionality compared to online use
• We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of offline data

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless John Glendenning from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice
• Update these Terms at any time
• Refuse service to anyone for any reason

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Your use of the App is also subject to the terms and conditions of the Apple App Store from which you downloaded the App.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiation between the parties
2. If negotiation fails, binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the UK Arbitration Act
3. Each party shall bear their own costs unless otherwise awarded by the arbitrator

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and John Glendenning regarding the use of the App.
